    As in the past this event is held as an effort to bring people in the community of cycling together. We hope that you will join us, come out and find that one part you have been missing to make your ride complete. Bring your old parts to sell or trade. A small raffle will take place in which new items that have been donated to the RFC will be up for grabs. All proceeds for the raffle will go to Bike Bakersfield, our local cycling advocates.     We realize that some other events may be going on this day, showing your support for cycling in Bakersfield is not one-dimensional. For us it is about creating options for the community in an effort to grow a greater since of just that, COMMUNITY."

Holiday Light Ride - Haggin Oaks//Wednesday

5:30pm @ Kaiser parking lot (8800 Ming Avenue Bakersfield, CA 93311)

The ride will be family friendly and last about an hour.

We hope to see many returning faces from last year and meet some new riders as well.

38^th Annual North of the River Christmas Parade (looking for riders):

Dec. 11^th Saturday 9am
We Bike Bakersfield will be riding as a "float" along with our "banner" 
Show up early North Chester Ave, Look for a large group of riders.
Theme: Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer
(we ask that you wear antlers & decorate your bike to look like a reindeer)

Haggin Oaks Christmas Lights Ride:

Dec. 15^th Wednesday 5:30pm

We will be meeting in the Kaiser parking lot at ( 8800 Ming Avenue Bakersfield, CA 93311-1308 )

Downtown Christmas Lights Ride:

Dec. 20^th Monday 5:30pm

We will be meeting at Beach Park at the entrance to the Kern River Parkway (AKA the bike path)

Full Moon Ride:

Dec. 21^st Tuesday 5:30pm
