Amy B. Seibert Elementary School - Bicycle Safety Rodeo

66 students participated in the Bicycle Safety Rodeo that was conducted at Seibert's fall school Carnival. An additional 20 helmets were handed out to other students that could not participate due to limited time, totaling in 86 helmets that were given out at Seribert Elementary.

Memorial Run on the Bike Path
The
Bakersfield Police Department will be hosting the yearly Memorial Run on
the bike path. It will be Saturday, 11/5/11 at the Park at River Walk
(Stockdale/Buena Vista). It will be from 8am til about 11 am. We
anticipate about 500 runners. The 2k will head eastbound and = the
5k/10k will head westbound.
